Colours of the Wind

Picture spam of the load of nail polishes I wore earlier this year... when my nails were in good shape.
I can't keep them this long now, idk why :(

These are super ancient, from March and April mainly.

A England Saint George
This is just so gorgeous...worth all the oohs and ahs.
Shimmer from deep within.
Holographic.
What more can I say?
I chose to wear this for my birthday!

Color Club Fashion Addict
Nail art! Once in a blue-est move. The tape part was done with Color Club Wild At Heart and Color Club Revvvolution.
They must be the most affordable yet awesome formula holographics. Wasn't easy getting my hands on them though!

Color Club Revvvolution
After Fashion Addict got a bit chipped I refreshed with this grey beauty.

Essence Hazelnut Cream Pie
One of my favourite nude. It has a beautiful hidden purple shimmer.

Femme Fatale A Tisket, A Tisket
This was the delicate glitter phase. Wore this to Austria and it's so springy and beautiful.

Happy Hands Motherboy
sandwiched between layers of OPI Care to Danse
Another delicate spring glitter combination!

Innisfree 83 Herb Yoghurt
This is probably my favourite colour but least favourite yoghurt out of the collection. Bad formula, thin, runny. And there was only large hex glitter so it didn't look as pretty as the rest.

OPI Mermaid Tears and Innisfree Girl's Skirt
<3 this!
So nice that I took a photo of it with my Norwegian rock. It was supposed to be a forest green rock but it died under the sun :(
This is totally a mermaid dream if that's all I can say!

Ozotic 617
Look at the scattered holographic goodness.
It's so blazingly blue yet so holographic.
I hate it when some holographic nail polishes became too metallic or too holographic that the base colour cannot be seen.
I'm so tempted to get more Ozotics given the awesome formula!

piCture pOlish Kryptonite
My very first and only.
The bottle is much smaller than I expected.
But I could die for this scattered holo green.
It's like a glass shard, glimmering from deep within.
Sadly it comes at a price :(

Color Club Haul

Catrice and Essence Haul from Austria
I don't feel that much for them anymore.
Not since Catrice has appeared in Singapore. And Essence is in Singapore.
I wonder why they aren't in the UK...

The good old days

My nail polish painting frenzy started around this time last year... Okay maybe a bit later in April?

When the OPI New York City Ballet Collection came out  I saw it on a few blogs. I was sick of school so I headed out to the DYON Stall and got myself the mini set and China Glaze Techno.

And that was the point of no return.

Essence C'rest La Vie! (93)
Bright coral that almost matched my bedsheets. It's very very similar to Etude House Dreams of a Girl :)
Perhaps a tad bit darker.

Then I did scallop nails to match my watermeleon shoes. The green used is Essence Viva La Green (79).
I have no idea why it looks so brownish though.

Tony Moly Milky Way (Peppermint)
This is a dupe of the Deborah Lippmann Glitter in the Air.
I also have the Innisfree version from the yoghurt collection, #84 Peppermint Yoghurt but I haven't tried that.
This is 1 coat of the Tony Moly on China Glaze Sea Spray.
I didn't really quite like the opaque look a lot so next time I'll try over a jelly sky blue, if I have one.

China Glaze I Herd That
Surprise favourite for me of all the China Glaze I got last year!
So sparkly and flattering.
And it's very easy to apply :D
Love, love it.
Need to wear it again when the sun comes out.

Essie She's Picture Perfect
There is supposed to be a hidden pink shimmer, but it's hardly visible even in real life. Wish what was in the bottle translated a bit more onto the nails.
I think the formula was a little hard to work with too.
This was so long ago.

Vintage Rose Nails
Fail.
I don't know, they look like blobs of...?
I used China Glaze Refresh Mint for base, with Etude House Dreams of a Girl and Essence Enchanted Fairy (36) for the flower and Essence Viva La Green (79) for the leaves.

Skin Food Under The Sea
From Skin Food Party Tox Nails, it's serial number is 10.
I love the cute bottle. It's a dupe for Deborah Lippmann's Mermaid Dream, just like Innisfree #101 Girl's Skirt from the Poem Collection.
I'm actually wearing the Innisfree one now, I like it a bit more because it's got a bit more gold bits than the Skin Food one.
I also have Skin Food Party Tox Nails #9 Mermaid Teal, it's more jelly-ish and still in the untrieds :(

Innisfree #85 Raspberry Yoghurt
I promise I'll wear this again with better filed nails and take a better picture. This is 1 coat over OPI You Callin' Me a Lyre. Love this so much!!
Random Crayon Manicure Haul. It's a Japanese brand and I got them at $2 each from the $2 shop in Liang Court!

More posts coming up :D
I really should be doing work instead.

Spring

Sorry I have been neglecting this space.
Today I got round to uploading some photos so here they are... of nails :)
You can enlarge to see better.

KBShimmer Berry Patch
Looks a bit like berry smoothie? The formula is awesome and just perfect for spring! I have quite a few KBShimmer and I can't wait to use them! This was 3 coats with topcoat.
More images here: http://greenteaflakes.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/the-current-and-hauls.html

Pretty and Polished Tart
It's tad less blue toned than the picture. Formula was good, but I found that the glitter in my bottle was a bit sparse compared to other pictures I see online. I love the blue shimmer! This was 3 coats with topcoat as well.
The nail mail gave me much headache though, since it incurred VAT and I had to pay extra £8 for the administrative fee to Royal Mail. Arghhhh it wouldn't happen in Singapore.

Cookies and Cream
This jelly sandwich was inspired by Sarah from Chalkboard Nails or Of Lacquers and Laces

I used
2 coats of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu,
1 Coat of Sonnetarium Samurai Princess,
1 coat of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu and finally
1 Coat of Sonnetarium Samurai Princess with topcoat.

It wasn't too thick thankfully :) I really loved the look and Samurai Princess a lot! I shall get the Aritaum Modi Glam Tweed Coat too since I love the mix of black and white glitter.
Sadly I can't afford the Lynnderella Connect the Dots even though I love the extra shimmer it has.

Nubar Prize
Did this for Chinese New Year. One of the super rare red nail polish I have, it sparkles!
It made me fall in love with scattered holo... but this was the only nice one from the Nubar Prisms collection and I was kind of unwilling to splurge on so many Ozotics.
Anyway it dried quite gritty, so this was 2 coats of topcoat.

Megan Miller Caribbean
This is a dusty green crelly, formula was thin but still pretty good. The highlight must be the cork cap.

Megan Miller Caribbean with Innisfree 72 Green Christmas
Tried a jelly sandwich but the Innisfree polish was too thick and the glitter sinks down to the bottom too much so I couldn't get a good coverage. Such a pity really.

Essence Walk on Air
This is just so shiny and a perfect bright blue creme! Shall be my dupe for Nails Inc Baker Street (why doesn't Boots have the 3 for 2 offer anymore? I would be glad to get that and some Sprinkles) and anyway it was the same shade of blue used for my musical.

Lush Lacquer Mr Bubble
My first indie and second time using :D
The glitter suspension was awesome at first but I don't know why after I used it for this manicure they started sinking. Anyone has this problem?

Spring Fishtail Nails
This was done using Etude House Dreams of a Girl, Etude House Sweet Peppermint and Etude House Visible Lilac (??) to match my Innocent Smoothie beanie :D

Random mini nailmail from Harlow & Co. Finally managed to get my hands on piCture pOlish kryptonite!
Can't wait to use the Happy Hands Motherboy too, the rest are Ozotic 617 and Glitter Gal Teal Blue.
Now waiting for the Llarowe mail, hope it reaches safely soon :D

Some older manicures:
China Glaze Rainstorm
Once again, inspired by Sarah from Chalkboard Nails
Actually I bought China Glaze Rainstorm just one day before she posted that up. But I didn't have any white glitter so I frankened my own. The rest were all the same. Wore this on my way to UK :D

Sakura Nails with Essence Enchanted Fairy
For my colleague and I actually did it for my aunt and cousin too. Used OPI Alpine Snow and a random Crayon manicure pink shimmer mixed with Etude House Dreams of a Girl for the flowers.

That's about it for now!

My stash!

I must have thrown my blog into oblivion.

Now I'm on to another hurried and busy moment, and I seriously can't decide which of these babies from my stash to pack :(
Just bear with me for a moment!

(And why did blogger change back to the old way of uploading photos or is there something wrong with my computer? It's so slow and troublesome!)

Presenting my stash!

Lovely pastel cremes from Etude House.

Stripers.I haven't actually tried them yet :/

Tony Moly Yoghurts and Shimmers. The shimmers are really gorgeous. Shimmering sky and green!

The Megan Millers :D I love the cork but I heard it gives problems.

The random $2 "crayon" polishes from the Jap shop.

The A Englands. I'm bringing all!

The Face Shop and Skin Food ones. Love the Skin Food Party Tox Glitters! Seriously like mermaid nails :D

Innisfree! Love the Christmas Collection, I am wondering if I should get the remaining 2 glitters!

More Innisfree :)
We have the yoghurts, and crazy glitters from the horoscope collection.

More Etude House. I haven't tried the Juicy Cocktail Gradient nails thing yet, on the right is the Party My Nails Glitters.
Crazy collection of Essence polishes. Gosh.

My only 3 Essies? I love the Smooth Sailing and She's Picture Perfect!

taisu, Cirque, Zoya, Barielle. One of each!

Deborah Lippmanns. Luxury at my fingertips seriously.

From left to right.
Some Korean Pink Shimmer layering thing that's really good!
My only Orly.
Jordana Carnival, the Deborah Lippmann Across The Universe Dupe.
Kleancolors
My first and only Indie, Lush Lacquer Mr Bubble!

China Glaze pastels!

The OPI NYC Ballet Collection :)

Some OPI Nudes?

OPI blues. Gosh I (only) have OPI nudes and blues.

The other OPIs, but I think half of them aren't genuine...

More china Glaze! From the summer neons, Rainstorm (what I'm wearing now) and some Christmas ones.

China Glaze On Safari and Wicked collection.

China Glaze crazy glitters. And one of my favourite Fairy Dust (which is getting really thick by the way).

And the topcoats, basecoats.
I haven't tried all yet. Hope the Essie Good To Go is really good though :)

That's about it!

I'll try to post reviews soon :D

Meanwhile I need to rush out then come decide which to pack! My luggage is seriously exploding.
