More than just white

Hello! I'm back for a weekend review, all from TTR :D

TTR Get Lucky Midi in Peach

The material is different from what I expected but it's really good, very smooth and thick. This skirt comes with pockets, lining and I think it'll look really awesome when ironed.

Unfortunately, it's loose on me, it doesn't sit as high waist as I want it to be :( Hence it makes me look really short.

TTR Cooper Cut In Tank in Buttercup

Firstly, the colour is actually quite bright! Brighter than my photos, it's definitely a sunny saturated shade of yellow, but I had difficulty capturing.

It's double lined, a pretty good basic.

Similar material to LB Ashley Tank, I think the main difference is that the cut in is more defined.

I'll try to take photos of them both to compare next time!

TTR Flippy Scuba Skirt in Mint and White

Succumed to this in the end, it has a lining so I think it's a bit better than Bershka's?

The mint one's material is more stretchy and softer.

Anyway I wore the mint one out with a canvas backpack for a really short while and the parts that rubbed against the backpack totally furred and got a lot of scratches, must more than I would get usually for neoprene material, so I would say that the mint material is too soft and not lasting. 

It's a pity because it's such a pretty colour :(

TTR Magnolia Chiffon Shorts in White V2

My original v1 from BO was gone in a lost mail and I just managed to buy one from a reseller when they launched it again! So now I have both versions, personally I don't think there is a lot of difference between v1 and v2, length being almost non-significant.

The main difference is V2 has pockets. Good and bad. Good because you can put things in it, but bad because as you can see from the picture, the floral prints that make up the pocket peeks out so it looks ultra messy.

 I don't know if it's just me but I prefer lesser floral prints and more white spaces.

Anyway I decided I will sell my V1 cos... I think this one looks a bit nicer on me, I don't know why.

TTR Lauren Pelmet Skirt in White XS

I don't know why I bought it, I knew I will regret because I never ever wear tight skirts, but I think the minimalist look just appealed to me at that point and I saw all the raves and ootds...

Material didn't disappoint, thick and completely non-sheer.

But I really don't think I will ever ever wear it and it's too short for work so I have next to nil chances of wearing it, and I'll be letting go this piece as well! Email me at windy156@gmail.com if you are keen!

I think I'm strange. If the colour was called powder blue or baby blue I wouldn't be as interested.

But once I saw a periwinkle midi skirt (darker though) in primark and wanted to get it, but the lining was too short and the sizing off.

So hopefully this fulfills the expectations!

I didn't buy in Bershka then cos I expected them to go on sale in summer, but they didn't even up till I left.

I've been wanting a trumpet skirt for a long time... but somehow I can't seem to wear it out, I feel like it's very AA? I don't even know why.

Review Time!

Haven't done a review in a long time!

My room is in such a mess so I shan't "wear" them, and these days everyone on instagram puts in so much effort in the photos...

Pardon the bad lighting also, these are raw unedited photos and I am unable to be at home during the day time so I can't take them in daylight.

If I were in London then obviously I will (despite the gloomy days) take on the "grass"! Plus the room is much bigger.

Actually I find Singapore even gloomier these days, everyday I look out of the window MBS can't attract me because the sky is never blue :(

TCL Premium Riverie Resort Dress in XS

Actually I was tempted to buy the Zara pants in the same prints, but didn't, so at least having this dress lets me "own" this print!
The neoprene material is really thick! It's non-sheer at all, and really comfy.
The cutting is simple and flattering especially at the shoulders, but I feel like the prints aren't very appropriate for me to wear to work (because it's really casual), which is why I am not sure if I should keep it.
XS fits UK4-6 perfectly, because it's stretchy.

LB Glida Embroidered Dress in White

The back design is what that attracted me to the dress - but I think I need to find a suitable bra to wear it. I can totally imagine wearing it to beach holidays, frolicking in Italy or Santorini in summer.

It's pretty well made in terms of workmanship, which is I think one of the selling points of LB for me now. The material is cotton-ish, and slightly crinkled, which I really like, it may be slightly sheer in the sun, which I haven't tested out.

TTR Islander Shrug in Rainbow

I think this item disappointed me :( I imagined the material to be chiffon and base colour to be white, but in fact it's more like satin. It's slightly shiny, but not too bad so maybe I'll say it has a sheen? The base is off-white and has pale yellow patches all over.

On the bright side, if you take photos in it and increase the brightness, all the base colour/pattern will appear white and the rainbow pattern will look gorgeous.

Being satin-ish material, it's comfy and this material doesn't crumble easily, and it's light so it's good for on the go and holidays.

TTR Jemma Pleated Shorts in Black XS

Material wise, it's polyester, and probably doesn't require ironing. Black is very versatile as well. There are no pockets unfortunately :(
But it's really comfy and lined, no need to worry about sheerness, just grab and go.
