Smells Good

Alrightly, I bought loads of stuff recently...
So let's share them. This is not even half of them.
RIP my bank account.

From Superdrug:

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Conditioner
Smells like bubblegum, I heard so much raves about it so I had to try it out. It's alright, I didn't notice my hair becoming any different but it's decent.

Aussie Frizz Miracle Shampoo
This didn't manage to get it of my dandruff (of course) but my hair was tame... Not much difference from the L'Oreal one.

Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance Leave-in Conditioner
I don't know how much difference this makes too, but it smells pretty good.

Superdrug Acetone Nail Polish Remover
Getting it to clean up edges. I haven't really tried so I can't comment whether it can remove nail polish easily.

From Waitroise:

I was shopping in Waitrose and noticed these Tommy Guns products at 3 for £10, these usually cost £5.50 or so, so I thought it was a good deal and got them

Tommy Guns Jasmine & Wild Nettle Shampoo
This is for dry hair and it SMELLS HEAVENLY.
I love anything tea and jasmine... I loved the smell. I only used it twice so I can't comment on the effectiveness.

Tommy Guns Fig & Plum Shampoo
This one smells pretty good too, because I have such frizzy hair I got this.
I only used it a few times but one day I woke up with super frizzy hair I am not sure if it's because of this shampoo or just bad hair day.

Tommy Guns Fig, Plum & Marshmallow Conditioner
I always wondered how people put marshmallow into shampoo...? This one is a thick pale lilac conditioner, a bit hard to get out of the container. I can't really comment on it's effectiveness since I hardly used it.
Smells the same as the Fig & Plum shampoo.

More buys from TKMaxx :)

Yes To Cucumbers Color Care Shampoo
I don't have colored hair but this is the only one available from the Yes To range. It's still available at £3.99 for 500ml, I think it's a pretty good deal for a sulphate and paraben free shampoo!
I love the cucumber smell, it lathers pretty well and my hair feels soft.
Hopefully my dandruff clears too.

Sally Hansen Gel Cuticle Remover
Does as it says, I have no complaints.
Well worth the price at TKMaxx :)

Color Club Foiled Collection
How can I say no to nail polish?
They have the Take Wing Collection and several others, but I got this mainly for stamping...or should you say, try out stamping?
They are very pigmented metallics.

Next up, from Boots. From the 3 for 2 promotion on all skincare and bath etc...

Soap & Glory Peaches and Clean Facial Cleanser
I love the smell, how can I reject peach and anything that smells like peach?
It does seem to melt away make up, initially I was hesitant because it's a cream/milk cleanser and my skin can get oily, but after hearing all the raves I think I should try it out?
And my face didn't feel tight after using it :)

Good Things Miracle Mattifier Moisturiser
I can't deny it smells so good, but it was too much for me with the fragrance lingering on my face.
So I decided, I can have heavenly smelling cleansers, toners, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body butter, but not facial moisturisers because I don't wash it off and after my while my nose just dies.
I'm not sure how good is the mattifying properties yet though.
It is a white cream and sinks in very quickly, very easy to spread and apply as well.

Soap & Glory Scrub Your Nose in It Facial Scrub
Ahhh, smells like mint. So far it has made my skin clearer (I used twice) but I am not use if it will eliminate blackheads and clear up the pores in the long run.
You can use it as a clay mask or scrub.

I still have some hauls from Lush, The Body Shop and Fragrance Direct... yesterday was good mails day.

The Current and Hauls

I promise this will be the last polish post today!
So... let's begin.

A England The Legend Collection
I got this from the anniversary sales earlier this year just before Royal Mail decided to be super mega irritating.
But this just means, there is less chance to have sales in future :(

A England Collection
My entire collection!
And The Shield Topcoat is what I have been using recently, it works well but I probably won't buy it unless there is another sale.

A England Iseult
I love this! It's so feminine and clean. Sheer pink with a silver shimmer and you can use it for jelly sandwich too.
I think it's the most dainty one of all the A England polishes.
Ouch to the dent.

A England Princess Sabre
Pardon the super ugly nails. Broke 2 of them in a row! Argh!
This one is gorgeous too, gold scattered holo and the holo is quite strong amongst the rest.

A England Princess Tears
This one is a little frosty, a lilac-ish scattered holo. My bottle has a wonky brush though.

A England Saint George
Wore this for my birthday!
Deep gorgeous teal green, my favourite colour! And just nice the day I put it on there was the sun coming out (it's gloomy and rainy now).

Llarowe Nail Mail
HITS Speciallita Hera, HITS Speciallita Hefesto, Jade Fascinio Violeta, Jade Magia, Jade Energy
Glitter Gal Lizard Belly Holo, Femme Fatale A Tisket, A Tisket, UP Colors Azul Disco, Girly Bits Hocus Pocus, Smitten Polish Adeste Fidelis

And over the Saint George I played with my new Llarowe Nail Mail holographic topcoats.
Index and Ring is HITS Speciallita Hefesto and Middle and Pinkie is Girly Bits Hocus Pocus.
Hefesto is sheerer and easier to apply, allowing the base colour to show through whereas Hocus Pocus has a stronger holo effect but a bit thick.
Preferences

Moving on...

KBShimmer from Harlow & Co
First time I actually camped for a nail polish launch
And guilty to say I haven't really used them.

KBShimmer Watercolor
This is so bright and happy! Formula is perfect too :D
I need to wear this again but I have so many untrieds.
I think I have more untrieds than trieds since I only change my nail polish once a week these days.

KBShimmer Berry Patch
I love this one! Like Berry Smoothie perfect to eat, perfect for spring!

Kiko Haul
I got these mainly for the Lavish Oriental Limited Edition Holographic ones.

Kiko 400 Steel Grey
I LOVE THIS.
This probably made me find my love in holographics and steel grey. I never used to think much about grey polish.
This is so understated yet sophiscated. Formula is good as well.

Kiko 255 Violet Micro Glitter
Pretty nice, wish the glitter showed up more though!

Nubar Prize and Nubar Reclaim

Nubar Prize
I uploaded this in a previous post, but here is a better image!
So deep, sparkly and gorgeous. Like rubies hmmm.
It may make me rethink about red nail polish.

The Body Shop Haul and Reviews

Today I will also share my The Body Shop reviews.
They were all gotten over the Christmas/Boxing Day sales.

I have combination skin with random breakouts and acne scars :(
Dryness is not really an issue for me although yes, my face tends to feel dryer in winter.
I have quite a lot of blackheads along T-zone (Belif didn't work for me) and enlarged pores.

Tea Tree Range
I got this range mainly to help with my blemished skin because I have quite a lot of breakouts and acne scars. Unfortunately nothing has improved but in general nothing got worse.
The smell: I like it! It's not overpowering and I don't think it smells bad at all.
Then again, I kind of like the antiseptic and herbal smell.
Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion 15ml
Have been using this for a while but didn't see any effect. It's a lightweight lotion that is non-greasy and easy to apply. I apply to mostly my T-zones and spots, places that I want to clear up but don't clear up.

Tea Tree Facial Toner 250ml
I'm not really a toner person...didn't use this much. It's green in colour.
There is a tingling sensation after using, not uncomfortable for me or anything.
Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser 150ml
I have been using this daily. It works well as a cleanser and cleans my face, other than that nothing much.
My skin goes around creating new pimples every now and then.
Tea Tree Oil 10ml
I think my skin is beyond hope so this isn't working for me too. Basically you are supposed to dot a little on spots and stuff you want to clear up.
Tea tree oil is antiseptic so it should get rid of the dirt and bacteria and clear up your skin.

Vitamin E Range
I got some moisturisers from this range.

Vitamin E Tinted Moisturiser Lotion 50ml
This works well, it smoothens the complexion and has a natural light coverage. If I don't find a better tinted moisturiser I will repurchase. There is no scent :) I can't stand moisturisers with strong smell.

Vitamin E SPF15 Moisture Lotion 50ml
I haven't used this much mainly because there hasn't been much sun and I don't stay outdoors much, also the scent is too strong/sweet for me.

Vineyard Peach Range
No surprise I love peach and these were on sale.

Vineyard Peach Body Scrub 200ml
I haven't really used scrubs before, this one is alright, smells great!
Vineyard Peach Shower Gel 250ml
I still have an infinite amount of shower foams/gel so I haven't gotten round to use this yet. Smells good too!

I got the skincare kits because they were 3 for 2 and good for travelling, although I haven't brought them to travel yet.

Aloe Skincare Kit
For sensitive skin, there is no fragrance and this range feels calm.
Also, the expiry date is 6 months instead of the usual 12 months for other products.
They creams do feel very calm, so it should be fine for sensitive skin.

Aloe Calming Facial Cleanser 60ml
Untried

Aloe Calming Toner 60ml
Untried

Aloe Soothing Day Cream 15ml
Soft and light, decent for me :) Easily absorbed.

Aloe Soothing Night Cream 15ml
Soft and light, decent for me :) This is a bit thicker than the day cream, but still easily absorbed.
I have finished using it.

Seaweed Skincare Kit
For combination skin.
I am starting to get sick of the seaweed smell from the facial exfoliator. The rest of the products have a light frangrace that is fine by me.

Seaweed Purifying Facial Cleanser 60ml
Untried.
It's a very pale yellow gel.

Seaweed Clarifying Toner 60ml
 Feels okay, hardly used.

Seaweed Day Cream 15ml
Not bad. It's a light cream and easily absorbed. Smells quite fresh and not as strong as the facial exfoliator. Smell disappears quite quickly too.
Hardly used.

Seaweed Night Treatment 15ml
Not bad. It's a clear light gel.
Hardly used.
Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Facial Exfoliator 75ml
This is not part of the kit, purchased it on its own. It is brown-ish with some bits for exfoliating, I kinda grew sick of the smell. So far no difference in pores for me.

Nutriganics™ Skincare Kit
For the first signs of aging. Smells quite light and good though, probably no harm preventing ageing from an early age?

Nutriganics™ Foaming Facial Wash 60ml
Untried

Nutriganics™ Refreshing Toner 60ml
Untried

Nutriganics™ Smoothing Day Cream 15ml
Untried

Nutriganics™ Smoothing Night Cream 15ml
It's white and quite creamy, made my face feel a bit tight at first but now it's fine.

The Beginnings

Mega posting today...

Zoya Zuza
I love this, such perfect formula, gorgeous colour. And my only Zoya.
I do have a huge list of Zoyas I want but it's hard to get them whether UK or Singapore.

Zoya Zuza with Dragonfly Print
Inspired by Chalkboard Nails again, needless to say I failed quite badly.

OPI DS Magic
This sparkles from within but formula is thin and needed 3 coats. I think I have several near dupes for it. Sadly the duochrome in the bottle doesn't translate onto the nails.

Cloud Manicure
OPI DS Magic as base, OPI Alpine Snow and Barry M Denim.
Got a bit thick and lumpy, I need to practice more.

China Glaze Glittering Garland Christmas Tree
Did this for Christmas and it travelled with me all the way to Norway and Barcelona.

China Glaze Dorothy Who & China Glaze Ruby Pumps
In a desperate attempt to finishing using my untrieds faster.
I wore this to watch the Wicked Musical so it kinda fits the theme right? :)

OPI My Very First Knockwurst with Lush  Lacquer Mr Bubble
Very good nude pink with great formula!

Barry M Jewel Britannia Jelly Sandwich
I sandwiched this between layers of OPI You Calling Me a Lyre and topped with China Glaze Fairy Dust.
It was kind of thick, regrets :(

Etude House Pajama Party
From Dear My Party Nails. Colourful glitter suspended in a milky blue base, glitter payoff was excellent!

Models Own Peacock Green
This looked so much better in real life, deep blue green with such a shimmer/chrome effect!

Models own haul from sales :)

W7glitters which sort of resemble the Nails Inc Sprinkles. I still need to get my hands on Sweets Way! I need to use these first though.

The good old days

My nail polish painting frenzy started around this time last year... Okay maybe a bit later in April?

When the OPI New York City Ballet Collection came out  I saw it on a few blogs. I was sick of school so I headed out to the DYON Stall and got myself the mini set and China Glaze Techno.

And that was the point of no return.

Essence C'rest La Vie! (93)
Bright coral that almost matched my bedsheets. It's very very similar to Etude House Dreams of a Girl :)
Perhaps a tad bit darker.

Then I did scallop nails to match my watermeleon shoes. The green used is Essence Viva La Green (79).
I have no idea why it looks so brownish though.

Tony Moly Milky Way (Peppermint)
This is a dupe of the Deborah Lippmann Glitter in the Air.
I also have the Innisfree version from the yoghurt collection, #84 Peppermint Yoghurt but I haven't tried that.
This is 1 coat of the Tony Moly on China Glaze Sea Spray.
I didn't really quite like the opaque look a lot so next time I'll try over a jelly sky blue, if I have one.

China Glaze I Herd That
Surprise favourite for me of all the China Glaze I got last year!
So sparkly and flattering.
And it's very easy to apply :D
Love, love it.
Need to wear it again when the sun comes out.

Essie She's Picture Perfect
There is supposed to be a hidden pink shimmer, but it's hardly visible even in real life. Wish what was in the bottle translated a bit more onto the nails.
I think the formula was a little hard to work with too.
This was so long ago.

Vintage Rose Nails
Fail.
I don't know, they look like blobs of...?
I used China Glaze Refresh Mint for base, with Etude House Dreams of a Girl and Essence Enchanted Fairy (36) for the flower and Essence Viva La Green (79) for the leaves.

Skin Food Under The Sea
From Skin Food Party Tox Nails, it's serial number is 10.
I love the cute bottle. It's a dupe for Deborah Lippmann's Mermaid Dream, just like Innisfree #101 Girl's Skirt from the Poem Collection.
I'm actually wearing the Innisfree one now, I like it a bit more because it's got a bit more gold bits than the Skin Food one.
I also have Skin Food Party Tox Nails #9 Mermaid Teal, it's more jelly-ish and still in the untrieds :(

Innisfree #85 Raspberry Yoghurt
I promise I'll wear this again with better filed nails and take a better picture. This is 1 coat over OPI You Callin' Me a Lyre. Love this so much!!
Random Crayon Manicure Haul. It's a Japanese brand and I got them at $2 each from the $2 shop in Liang Court!

More posts coming up :D
I really should be doing work instead.
